Classic Deviled Eggs

Servings: 12 halves
Ingredients:
– 6 large eggs
– 3 tbsp mayonnaise
– 1 tsp yellow mustard
– 1 tsp lemon juice or white vinegar
– Salt, to taste
– Black pepper, to taste
– Paprika (for garnish)
Method:
– Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with water.
– Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
– Transfer eggs to cold water and peel once cooled.
– Slice eggs in half lengthwise and remove yolks into a bowl.
– Mash yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until smooth.
– Spoon or pipe the mixture back into the egg whites.
– Sprinkle lightly with paprika before serving.
