Chicken Soup
📝 Ingredients (2–3 servings)
- 1 cup chicken (cut into pieces)
- 3 cups water or chicken stock
- 1 small onion (chopped)
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- 1 small carrot (chopped)
- 1/2 cup vegetables (green beans, cabbage, or spinach)
- 1 tablespoon oil
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of black pepper
Optional add-ins:
- Noodles or rice
- Ginger (for extra warmth)
- Fresh herbs (parsley or thyme)
🍳 Method
- Heat oil in a pot and sauté onions and garlic until fragrant.
- Add chicken and cook for a few minutes until lightly browned.
- Pour in water or stock.
- Add carrots and other vegetables.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15–20 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Add noodles or herbs if desired and cook briefly.
- Serve warm.
