Chicken Curry

Warm spices gently coat tender chicken, creating a comforting dish that nourishes body and soul.

Ingredients

 600 g chicken pieces

3 tbsp vegetable oil]

 1 onion, chopped

 2 cloves garlic, minced

 1 tbsp curry powder

 1 tsp paprika

 1 cup tomato puree or chopped tomatoes

 1 cup chicken stock or water

1 tsp salt

 ½ tsp black pepper


Method

  1. Heat oil in a pot over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and sauté until soft.
  3. Add garlic, curry powder, and paprika; stir briefly.
  4. Add chicken pieces and coat with spices.
  5. Pour in tomatoes and stock.
  6. Cover and simmer 30 minutes until chicken is tender.
  7. Season and serve hot.
