Chicken Soup

📝 Ingredients (2–3 servings)

  • 1 cup chicken (cut into pieces)
  • 3 cups water or chicken stock
  • 1 small onion (chopped)
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1 small carrot (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup vegetables (green beans, cabbage, or spinach)
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of black pepper

Optional add-ins:

  • Noodles or rice
  • Ginger (for extra warmth)
  • Fresh herbs (parsley or thyme)

🍳 Method

  1. Heat oil in a pot and sauté onions and garlic until fragrant.
  2. Add chicken and cook for a few minutes until lightly browned.
  3. Pour in water or stock.
  4. Add carrots and other vegetables.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15–20 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Add noodles or herbs if desired and cook briefly.
  8. Serve warm.
