Coconut Chin Chin Recipe

Ingredients
– 3 cups all-purpose flour
– ½ cup desiccated coconut
– ½ cup sugar
– ½ cup butter or margarine (soft)
– 2 eggs
– ¼ cup coconut milk (or regular milk)
– ½ teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
– ½ teaspoon baking powder
– Pinch of salt
– Vegetable oil for frying
Method
– Mix flour, coconut, sugar, baking powder, nutmeg, and salt in a bowl.
– Add butter and rub into the flour until crumbly.
– Add eggs and coconut milk gradually to form a firm dough.
– Roll dough thin on a floured surface.
– Cut into small strips or cubes.
– Heat oil on medium heat and fry until golden brown.
– Remove and drain on paper towel. Allow to cool before storing.
