South African Chakalaka (Vegetable Relish)

Ingredients
- 1 cup baked beans
- 1 carrot, grated
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt & mild chili (optional)
Method
- Heat oil and sauté onion until soft.
- Add carrot and pepper; cook for 5 minutes.
- Stir in baked beans and chili if using.
- Simmer gently and adjust seasoning.
