Spaghetti Bolognese

Spaghetti Bolognese is a classic and comforting pasta dish made with rich tomato sauce and seasoned ground beef. This hearty meal is full of flavor and perfect for a satisfying lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup spaghetti
  • 200 g ground beef
  • 1 cup crushed tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp chopped onion
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

Method

  1. Cook the spaghetti in boiling salted water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add chopped onion and cook for 2 minutes until soft.
  4. Stir in minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
  5. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  6. Stir in tomato paste and crushed tomatoes.
  7. Add oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  8. Simmer the sauce for about 10 minutes.
  9. Serve the sauce over cooked spaghetti and sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
