Spiced Ginger Croissant

Ingredients

2½ cups flour

 1 cup cold butter

 1 tbsp grated ginger

 2 tbsp sugar

 ½ tsp salt

 ½ cup cold milk

Method

  1. Mix flour, sugar, salt, and ginger.
  2. Cut in cold butter to form flakes.
  3. Add milk gradually to form dough.
  4. Fold and roll dough several times to create layers.
  5. Shape croissants and rest 30 minutes.
  6. Bake at 190°C for 20–25 minutes until flaky and golden.
