Sweet Potato Puff Puff
Cooking Time: Prep: 20 mins | Fry: 15 mins | Total: 35 mins
Ingredients
– 2 cups mashed cooked sweet potato
– 1½ cups all-purpose flour
– ½ cup sugar
– 1 tsp yeast
– ½ tsp nutmeg
– Pinch of salt
– ½–1 cup warm water
– Vegetable oil for frying
Method
– Mix sweet potato, sugar, yeast, nutmeg, and salt.
– Add flour and warm water to form batter.
– Cover and allow to rise 40 minutes.
– Heat oil and fry spoonfuls until golden.
– Drain and allow to cool.
